Man Faces Trial for Production of Child Pornography
A 57-year-old man is set to stand trial in Kyiv, accused of producing child pornography and sexually assaulting three young girls who were his neighbors. The accused, who worked as a cash collector, allegedly committed these acts in his own apartment in the Desnianskyi district of the capital. The victims are three girls, one of whom was 8 years old at the time of the incidents, while the other two were 12 years old each. This case highlights ongoing concerns about child safety within residential communities.
Criminal Acts and Arrest
The criminal activity spanned one month, during which the accused would invite the children into a room, ask them to undress, and perform sexual acts with them on a bed. According to the prosecutor's office, these acts were not committed in isolation but in the presence of the other girls. The man recorded his actions on a mobile phone.
His arrest took place in the summer of 2025, during which law enforcement officers seized photos and videos depicting the children. The accused is currently in custody, and the case has been forwarded to court by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
