The second political consultations between the directors of the foreign affairs departments of Ukraine and the countries of the North Baltic Eight - Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland, and Sweden took place in Kyiv.
During the event, the participation of European partners in ensuring peace, strengthening air defense, and restoring Ukraine's energy system was discussed. The parties also discussed a series of initiatives aimed at increasing sanctions pressure on Russia and holding the aggressor accountable.
In conclusion, the parties agreed on further cooperation in many areas, including military support, financing, and strategic communications, reaffirming their support for Ukraine in its struggle against Russian aggression.
