Kyiv Launches Seasonal Markets Starting May 19

Seasonal Markets in Kyiv

From May 19 to May 24, Kyiv will host seasonal markets, giving residents a chance to buy fresh produce and other goods. The Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development of the Kyiv City State Administration has released details about the markets, including the addresses where they will operate on weekends. These events are part of the city's efforts to support local food systems and provide direct access to farmers.

Market Locations

On Saturday, May 23, markets will be open in eight districts of Kyiv: Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Obolonskyi, Podilskyi, Solomianskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi. The addresses for that day are as follows:

  • Pankivska Street (Holosiivskyi)
  • Holosiivska Street, 4-10 (Holosiivskyi)
  • Revutskoho Street (Darnytskyi)
  • Serzha Lyfaria Street (Desnianskyi)
  • Ihor Shamo Boulevard, 2-12 (Dniprovskyi)
  • Petra Kalnyshevskoho Street, 1-5 (Obolonskyi)
  • Yordanska Street, 1-9 (Obolonskyi)
  • Stepan Bandera Avenue (Podilskyi)
  • Stadionna Street (Solomianskyi)
  • Bohdana Havrylyshyna Street, 7-11 (Shevchenkivskyi)

The following day, Sunday, May 24, markets will be held in five districts: Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Pecherskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi. The Sunday addresses for visitors are:

  • Samiila Kishky Street (Holosiivskyi)
  • Zdolbunivska Street, 4 (Darnytskyi)
  • Ihoria Yukhnovskoho Street (Dniprovskyi)
  • John McCain Street (Pecherskyi)
  • Tatarska Street, 32-38 (Shevchenkivskyi)

In addition to the seasonal markets, Kyiv residents can also visit municipal markets. These include:

  • Volodymyrskyi Market (Antonovycha Street, 115)
  • Zhytnii Market (Verkhnii Val Street, 16)
  • Bessarabskyi Market (Bessarabska Square, 2)
