A genuine fraud scheme unfolded in the Obolon District Prosecutor's Office regarding apartments, with two men accused. They forged documents to 'inherit' two apartments of a deceased woman who left this world in 2023. One of them posed as the heir, while the other acted undercover as a realtor, advertising the property for sale online. Their scheme was revealed when they attempted to sell the apartments and obtain over 3 million hryvnias for them.
Now, the accused face prosecution under Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for fraud and complicity in its commission. Such attempts to illegally seize someone else's property are unacceptable, and these cases should receive appropriate qualification from law enforcement agencies.
