After another Russian shelling in Kyiv, part of the public transport operations has been temporarily changed. The reason was damage to the contact network and traffic restrictions in certain areas of the city. As a result, some trams, trolleybuses, and buses are operating on altered routes. This is reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.
Which transport routes are operating with changes
The changes mostly affected electric transport. Currently, the movement of trolleybuses No. 29, No. 30, and No. 31, as well as trams No. 14, No. 15, No. 22, and No. 25, is delayed.
To ensure passenger transportation, the city authorities have introduced temporary traffic schemes and additional transport.
Specialists continue to work on restoring damaged infrastructure.
A temporary bus route has been launched for trams
During the restoration work, a temporary bus route No. 14-T has been organized to replace trams No. 14 and No. 15.
Buses are operating towards:
-
«Prospekt Vidradnyi»;
-
«Dehtiarivskyi overpass».
This decision is intended to help passengers reach major transport hubs without significant delays.
How trolleybus and bus routes have changed
Trolleybuses No. 29, No. 30, and No. 31 are currently providing transportation from Darnytsia Square and Myroslavska Street to the metro station «Minska».
Also, the movement of certain bus routes has changed:
-
Bus No. 9 runs to the Dehtiarivskyi overpass;
-
Bus No. 28 travels through Alpiiska Street, Demiivska Street, and Valerii Lobanovskyi Avenue;
-
Bus No. 53 moves through Mezhyhirskyi Street, after which it returns to its usual route.
The KMDA emphasized that the public transport movement scheme may change rapidly depending on the situation and the pace of restoration of damaged facilities. Passengers are advised to follow the latest announcements from city services before traveling.
