After the night-time combined attack of the Russian Federation in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, the routes of several buses were temporarily changed. Due to damage to the infrastructure, transport does not reach the metro station «Kharkivska», and some routes are detouring residential areas. This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

Transport movement in the Darnytskyi district was changed after the shelling

The Kyiv City State Administration has reported that changes affect several bus routes on the left bank of the capital. Restrictions were imposed after the consequences of the Russian strike on the night of Thursday, May 14.

Buses №104, 108, and 109 now run from Architect Verbitsky Street through Brother Tarasivtsiv Street. Then the transport proceeds along the usual route without going to the metro «Kharkivska».

Bus route №22 has also been temporarily changed. The transport goes through Trostyanetska, Architect Verbitsky, Brother Tarasivtsiv, Anna Akhmatova, Revutskoho and Mykola Bazhan Avenue.

The Russian attack on Kyiv damaged residential buildings

Buses №45 currently run through Revutskoho, Trostyanetska, and Architect Verbitsky streets. After that, they return to the main route.

According to city authorities, as a result of the Russian combined attack, one person was killed. Another 19 people sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity.

In the Darnytskyi district, residential buildings and civil infrastructure were damaged. In one of the apartment buildings, structures collapsed. In the Obolon district, debris damaged an apartment and an unfinished building, and a fire occurred on the roof of a residential building in the Dnipro district.

This is not the first time that after massive attacks by the Russian Federation, it is necessary to urgently change public transport routes in Kyiv due to damage to the infrastructure and danger to passengers.

For residents of the Darnytskyi district, this means increased travel time and changes to regular transfers near the metro station «Kharkivska». Some routes may operate with disruptions until the emergency works are completed.

Recall that on May 13, 2026, Kyiv was attacked by drones, as a result of which debris from a drone fell on open territory in the Obolon district.
