In Kyiv, from April 30, public bus route No. 4-T will temporarily cease operations. The restrictions will last almost two months — until June 27. The reason is renovation work on the railway bridge and changes to the city train operations. Official Kyiv portal reports this.
Why bus No. 4-T was temporarily canceled in Kyiv
As explained by Kyivpastrans, the route will not operate temporarily due to:
-
bridge renovations between the stations «Pochaina» and «Raydushny»;
-
changes in the city train schedule;
-
reduced passenger flow on this route.
Buses that serviced route No. 4-T will temporarily be redirected to other public transport lines.
How transport movement will change after route No. 4-T suspension
Despite the suspension of one route, some transport connections on the left bank will remain.
In particular:
-
bus No. 5-T continues to operate unchanged;
-
it travels from Sерж Лифаря street to «Raydushny» station;
-
other routes will be strengthened due to released transport.
Kyivpastrans notes that after the renovations and restoration of the city train operations, route No. 4-T will be reinstated in normal operation.
Residents are asked to consider the changes and plan trips taking into account the temporary restrictions.
Let us remind you, the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, confirmed the intention to revise tariffs for public transport.
