Fire in Kalita
On June 10, a fire broke out in a multi-story residential building in the settlement of Kalita, Brovary district. A total of 14 residents were evacuated, with one person rescued from the fifth floor. The blaze was extinguished by 3:00 PM, covering an area of 120 square meters. To combat the fire, authorities deployed 40 firefighters and 11 units of equipment.
Emergency services received the report of the fire at 1:09 PM. The fire started in an apartment on the fifth floor and then spread to the building's roof. Following the evacuation, the injured individual was handed over to emergency medical personnel. Psychologists from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service also provided support at the scene.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Meanwhile, in the Fastiv district of Kyiv region, a separate incident involved the arson of a grocery store by a 54-year-old man using paper trash and matches. The store was completely destroyed by the fire, but no injuries were reported. Additionally, in the Holosiiv district of Kyiv, firefighters extinguished a blaze in a three-story abandoned structure, where flames engulfed all floors and the roof.
