The night of August 23 became horrifying for the residents of Konotop due to an unprecedented attack by kamikaze drones. The city's mayor, Artem Semenikhin, reported on this feat of relentless technological progress.
According to information from Semenikhin, one of the drones carried explosives weighing approximately 90 kg. 'The explosions were truly powerful,' he added.
'The explosions are very strong,' Semenikhin reported on Telegram.
The humanitarian headquarters began operations at 1:16 AM and will be active at the scene until 8:00 AM. Information about the victims will be clarified later. The mayor also warned about possible new attacks at night involving another ten 'shahed' drones, one of which has already struck Nedryhayliv.
In the evening of August 22, the city of Kramatorsk became the next target of Russian occupiers. The city council reported over 30 explosions in one hour of shelling. The situation remains tense in eastern Ukraine, and residents of cities are prepared for new trials.
