Widespread Power Outages Plague Crimea
Since July 6, the Russian-occupied Crimean Peninsula has faced severe electricity disruptions following attacks on its energy infrastructure. As of the evening of July 7, only Kerch had managed to fully restore power. The blackout began overnight on July 6 after a massive drone assault targeted energy facilities across the peninsula. Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed to have shot down 64 Ukrainian drones over Crimea.

- Dzhankoi district
- Krasnoperekopsk district
- Feodosia district
- Alushta
- Yevpatoria
- Kerch
- Saky
- Shcholkine
In Yevpatoria, tram services have been suspended; in Sevastopol, trolleybuses are running with delays, and buses are falling behind schedule. Crimean mobile operators have activated emergency roaming.
Local residents report fuel shortages and a sharp spike in gasoline prices. The cost of a liter of gasoline in Sevastopol has reached 215 rubles, compared to around 72 rubles on mainland Russia. Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi (also known as Madjar), stated that Ukrainian forces struck five electrical substations and a gas distribution station in occupied Crimea, and also claimed attacks on Russian tankers in the Sea of Azov.
