Restoration of electricity and heating supply
Electricity and heating supply has been restored in Kryvyi Rih and settlements in the Kyiv region after a massive attack by Russian troops. The restoration was made possible thanks to the efforts of energy workers and rescuers who worked to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.
Yesterday, the Russian army carried out a large-scale attack using:
- 242 drones,
- 13 ballistic missiles,
- one medium-range ballistic missile 'Oreshnik',
- 22 cruise missiles.
As of 5:00 PM, 25 people were injured as a result of these attacks in Kyiv, of which 5 were rescuers. Unfortunately, four people died, and 32 people were rescued.
Situation in Nikopol
In Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, heating and water supply has also been restored.
“Maximum effort is being made to restore the energy system,” - noted Yuliia Svyrydenko, commenting on the situation.She also emphasized that “these were complex strikes”, which further highlights the difficulties faced by energy workers and rescuers during the restoration.
Restoring electricity and heating supply in the affected regions is an important step in ensuring the stability of the population's livelihoods after the devastating attacks. The situation in Ukraine remains tense due to ongoing military actions, requiring rapid response services and coordinated actions to minimize the consequences for the civilian population.
