Initially, the man was sentenced to imprisonment for up to 5 years, but as a result, the sentence was changed to two years of probation. The stolen pot was returned to the owner.
This case illustrates how offenses, even of a small scale, can have serious consequences under martial law. The judicial system continues to work on cases related to theft, emphasizing the importance of adhering to laws and maintaining order in the country. At the same time, the sentence of probation may indicate the court's attempts to find a balance between punishment and the possibility for the offender to rehabilitate in society.
