Champions League sets historic record: 71 goals in one round

The last Champions League tournament turned out to be the highest-scoring in history. According to a statement from UEFA's press service, teams scored 71 goals in 18 matches.


The previous record number of goals was 67 (in round 3 of the 2025/26 season and round 5 of the 2024/25 season).
