Arrest Made in Lutsk Shooting
Police in Lutsk have arrested a man who, on January 14, shot an officer while he was protecting a woman and her child. The incident occurred on Nalyvaika Street after officers Bohdan and Vladyslav responded to a call concerning an aggressive father-in-law. The suspect, a man born in 1956, fired at the scene. The bullet became lodged in the officer's bulletproof vest, preventing serious injury. Officer Bohdan commented on the situation, stating: 'I was saving a child. I saw the man aiming in the direction of the family, and in that moment, I didn't think about anything else.'
