Mykolaiv continues to update public transport. New Isuzu buses are already operating on routes, and in the summer the city will receive another 16 vehicles. They will be delivered in batches to gradually strengthen city routes. This is reported by the Mykolaiv City Council.

During a staff meeting, the Director of KP Mykolaivpastrans, Dmytro Danilenko, reported that there are currently 34 buses operating on the city routes.
Among them are 10 new Isuzu buses, which hit the roads about two weeks ago. One bus is currently undergoing warranty repairs due to a technical malfunction. The company is waiting for the necessary spare parts.
Mykolaiv will receive another 16 buses in the summer
According to Dmytro Danilenko, new buses will be delivered to Mykolaiv in batches of four vehicles each month, starting in the summer of 2026.
The Mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych, during the meeting also instructed to gradually brand public transport in recognizable colors.
«So that people see that this is public transport - comfortable and noticeable from afar,» the mayor noted.
The company has increased the number of employees
KP Mykolaivpastrans is also continuing to hire staff. If at the beginning of the year 167 people worked at the company, the staff has now increased to 185 employees. There are still five vacancies open.
In addition, Mykolaiv plans to launch a new bus route No. 49 «Microdistrict Shyroka Balka - Mykolaiv Freight Station». The relevant project is to be reviewed by the executive committee of the city council on May 13.
