A meeting took place in Mykolaiv between the leadership of the DSNS and the National Police of the region, where the topic of ensuring safety in schools was discussed. The main focus was on how to make educational institutions and the entire school environment as safe as possible in modern conditions.
Participants of the meeting agreed on joint measures and action algorithms to prevent danger. In particular, rescuers plan to conduct training for teaching staff and students, check the readiness of alert and evacuation systems, and also monitor the availability of fire extinguishing equipment.
Police, for their part, will take on preventive work among youth, responding to suspicious objects or individuals near educational institutions, and also increase patrolling.
Following the meeting, a joint Interaction Plan was signed, which provides for even closer cooperation between rescuers, law enforcement agencies, and the educational security service. The goal is to foster a culture of safety among students and school staff to ensure their lives are protected.
