In Mykolaiv region, civilians with bats attacked military personnel of the TCC: there are injured

In the village of Buzke in the Mykolaiv region, civilians armed with bats and metal pipes attacked military personnel of the TCC and SP. This was reported by the Mykolaiv regional TCC and SP, as informed by 'Glavkom'.



According to the military commissariat, the conflict occurred when military personnel were notifying along with a representative of the National Police. Civilians with bats and pipes damaged a vehicle and injured a soldier from the notification group. In self-defense, this military personnel fired a shot from a registered traumatic pistol.



According to preliminary information, there are injuries among military personnel of the TCC and among civilians. Law enforcement officers are working at the site.


The TCC reminded that insulting the honor and dignity, threatening with murder, violence, or destruction or damage to property of a military personnel, as well as their relatives, is punishable by restriction of liberty for a term of three to five years. In the case of beating or causing bodily harm, the law provides for even stricter liability: up to 12 years of imprisonment.



Earlier, we reported that in July, 210 out of 244 incidents (86%) related to TCC turned out to be manipulations, fakes, and informational-psychological operations, as reported by 'Glavkom' citing a report from the Ground Forces Command.



It is clarified that only 33 cases (14%) were confirmed. As a result, two people were removed from their duties, and seven others were brought to disciplinary responsibility. 24 official investigations are still ongoing.

The incident indicates the complex situation in the region and the need for an investigation into the event and the adoption of appropriate measures to ensure the safety of military personnel.
