In Moscow, during the night of July 20 to 21, unknown individuals set fire to the car of the head of a company that manufactures drones for the Russian army. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing 'RBK-Ukraine', which refers to sources in the intelligence.
It is noted that in Moscow, at the address Vereskovaya St. 1, a Mercedes-Benz ML350 belonging to the director of 'Petrovengineering' LLC, Vladimir Petrov, was burned. The company specializes in the production of drones, electric motors, generators, and transformers to meet the needs of the Russian army.
Fire at the oil refinery
Let us remind you that in the village of Nikolskoye in the Sakhalin region, the longest coal conveyor caught fire. The cause of the fire was allegedly a technical malfunction of the equipment.
Drones attacked the Novokuybishevsk oil refinery, which produces raw materials for explosive substances. These components are used for loading artillery shells, aerial bombs, cluster munitions, and missiles. The processing volume at the plant is about 1 million tons per year.
Russia plans to spend about $1.1 trillion on rearmament by 2036, which is the largest armament program of the Russian Federation since the collapse of the USSR.
The events in Moscow and at the oil refinery indicate serious tensions and problems in the Russian defense and industrial sector. The arson of a vehicle belonging to the head of a company that supplies products for military needs, as well as the actions of drones at the oil refinery producing important components for military equipment, may have serious consequences for Russia's defense capability.
