Intensive assault actions in the Pokrovsk direction

Russian troops continue intensive assault actions in the Pokrovsk direction, using all available means and changing tactics from direct attacks to attempts to encircle the city. This was reported by the press officer of the 'Rubizh' brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, Major Maksym Taran, during the telethon 'United News'.

'The Pokrovsk direction is very complex. The enemy employs everything they have to break through or disrupt our defense: airstrikes, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, drones on fiber optics, FPV drones, including those with night vision and thermal imaging,'

According to Taran, moving at night has become even more dangerous than during the day due to the intensive use of drones with thermal imaging by the Russians. The enemy has changed tactics and mainly assaults in infantry groups without using equipment to remain unnoticed.

Destruction of logistical routes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

In addition to direct attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russians are trying to infiltrate between them to destroy logistical routes. 'Their main task now is to destroy our logistics so that the forward units cannot evacuate, receive communications, or munitions,' Taran explained. He also added that the Russians often dress in civilian clothes or the uniforms of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for camouflage, but the Ukrainian military are already aware of these methods and are successfully destroying enemy groups even before their actions.

During intensive assault actions in the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian army employs various techniques and tactics, trying to disrupt and destroy the logistical routes of the Ukrainian forces. The Ukrainian military defends their positions and successfully identifies and eliminates enemy groups.
