At one of the key Russian airports - 'Sheremetyevo' - a collapse occurred due to a hacker attack. Thousands of passengers were stranded in terminals due to flight cancellations and delays. This is reported by 'Glavcom' citing Russian media.

Passengers of the airline 'Aeroflot' faced difficulties: some flights were canceled, while others were delayed. According to the media, the failure is allegedly related to a large-scale hacker attack. Participants from the groups Silent Crow and 'Cyber Partisans BY' made a corresponding statement. They claim to have destroyed the IT infrastructure of the airline 'Aeroflot'.

It is noted that the hackers conducted the operation for a year and during this time penetrated the corporate network, managed to gain access to a large data set of flight history and personnel control systems, as well as to records of phone conversations within the company. They also claim that they managed to destroy about 7000 physical and virtual servers. At the same time, the airline reported a failure in operational information systems, leading to incorrect service operations.

Recall that recently there was a large-scale failure in three major airports of the Russian Federation. As a result, Russian airlines could lose more than $250 million.

Cyber specialists, together with law enforcement agencies, uncovered the developer of hacker platforms. Also, the American agency responsible for maintaining the nuclear arsenal was attacked by hackers targeting Microsoft Corp's software.
