The wife of former Prime Minister of Nepal, Rajyalakshmi Chitrakar, died from severe injuries sustained during the torching of their home by protesters in Dallu. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing India Today.



According to family members, a group of demonstrators allegedly forcibly dragged the wife of the former Prime Minister into the house and then set it on fire. The woman was taken in critical condition to the Kirtipur burn hospital, but she did not survive.
