On Friday evening, July 25, the police of Nikopol received a call about an explosion on one of the city's streets. This was reported by the police of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
A investigative operational group from the district police department arrived at the scene, whose officers established that a conflict occurred between a 48-year-old man and a taxi driver.
The suspect got out of the car, and after a while returned and threw a grenade towards the car where the taxi driver was sitting.
The law enforcement officers seized material evidence from the scene. The attacker was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

Recall that in Ternopil, on Vinnytsia Street, there was an explosion of an F-1 grenade in one of the apartment buildings, as a result of which two people died: a man born in 1985 and his mother born in 1958.
In the city of Derazhnia in Khmelnytskyi region, an explosion occurred in the room of one of the hotel rooms. A military man and his wife were injured by the grenade.
In Kharkiv, a drunk man threw a hand grenade into the passenger compartment of a car, as a result of which the driver was injured. For attempted murder, intentional destruction of property, and illegal handling of weapons, the perpetrator will spend 15 years in prison.
Ukraine recently witnessed a number of explosions involving grenades, leading to fatalities and serious injuries. The police are acting within the law to detain criminals and prevent such situations in the future.
