In Germany, near the town of GoneMelsen in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, another cable on the railway line was set on fire. According to information from Deutsche Bahn, this incident occurred on Saturday, August 2, and was intentional. The line has already been restored, but the investigation is still ongoing, as this section has many intercity trains, many of which were canceled.
Additionally, another cable fire was recorded near Düsseldorf, as well as at another site, two kilometers from the previous incident. At the same time, problems with the GPS signal occurred in the Baltic Sea, and Poland associates this with actions by Russia, raising serious concerns.
“We are noting these GPS signal disruptions. Our allies in NATO countries are also recording them, so we are reacting. According to our data, this activity is linked to the Russian Federation, specifically its sabotage actions,” said a representative of Poland.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine, an investigation has been completed regarding a Russian agent who planned sabotage at the Ukrazaliznytsia facilities in the Vinnytsia and Chernivtsi regions. The arrested individual faces life imprisonment with property confiscation.
