Russian Strike in Pavlohrad: Wounded Toll Climbs to 12

Удар по Павлограду: Кількість постраждалих зросла до 12 осіб

Residential Building Hit in Pavlohrad Attack

The number of people injured in a Russian military strike on an apartment block in Pavlohrad has risen to 12. Among the victims is a 75-year-old woman hospitalized in serious condition. The others received necessary medical care and will be treated on an outpatient basis.

Initial reports indicated four wounded individuals, including a 13-year-old boy and three men. Later, after the elderly woman was brought to the hospital, the count increased to five. By the evening of June 10, the total had reached 12. The attack damaged a multi-story residential building and sparked a fire.

Previous Incidents and Aftermath

Earlier in June, a hostile drone struck another high-rise in Pavlohrad. In May 2026, Russia also targeted Dnipro and Pavlohrad, with a drone hitting a multi-story building in Pavlohrad and missiles striking Dnipro. That attack left 10 people wounded.

“A 75-year-old woman is in the hospital in serious condition. The other victims received the necessary medical help. They will continue treatment as outpatients,” said Oleksandr Ganzha.

This incident highlights a disturbing pattern of attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine amid the ongoing armed conflict. The rising number of casualties in such strikes raises serious concerns about resident safety. Local authorities and medical teams face the challenge of providing aid to the injured and repairing damaged infrastructure caused by military actions.

The recent attack in Pavlohrad is not an isolated incident. Just a few days prior, another Russian strike resulted in injuries to six individuals and caused significant damage to an apartment building. This escalation in hostilities highlights the ongoing threat to civilian life in the region.
