A strange competition for throwing cow dung took place in Russia. It is held every year in Perm Krai and is called 'Funny Cow Dung'. This is reported by 'Glavkom' citing Russian media.
It is believed that Russian 'grandfathers' entertained themselves in this way even during the Tsarist times. Whoever throws the dry dung the farthest becomes the winner. In modern times, this event started in 2008 and gained significant popularity. Even a former Minister of Culture has attended the festival, and the number of dried excrement for the competitions reached 200 pieces.
Every year, unconventional and extravagant events are held in Russia, attracting not only local residents but also well-known public figures. Throwing cow dung is just one example of how developed countries support entertainment with a high degree of eccentricity.
