On the night in the Moscow region, explosions occurred as drones headed towards Moscow. According to monitoring channels, there were at least five explosions in the Moscow region. It is also reported that all drones attempting to approach the Russian capital were shot down by air defense.
Local residents heard the first explosions around midnight. Witnesses from the village of Sovyino and the city of Bronitsy observed the flights of the drones. Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin confirmed the fact of the attack and spoke about the falling fragments. According to him, rescue services are working at the scene.
After the attack on the drones in the Moscow region, a fire also broke out in a private house. It is noted that the drones were shot down while operating over residential buildings.
However, the governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov reported that in the village of Ivanteyevka a private house also caught fire after fragments of the drone fell.
