In the Polish city of Poznań, two men attacked a Ukrainian while he was riding the tram with his partner. The men held hands to 'protect' Ukrainians from the Ukrainian language. After a conflict that escalated into a fight, the police detained the attackers, who now face imprisonment.

A member of the Poznań city council witnessed this attack and suggested that the Ukrainians go to the police, but they refused. Later, it was revealed that the police still found and detained the attackers. There had been similar cases of attacks on Ukrainians in Poland earlier due to bad meat and Nazi symbols.

The attack on the Ukrainian in Poznań is just one of many instances of aggression against Ukrainians in Poland. In recent years, the conflict between nationalist groups and migrants from Ukraine has intensified, requiring urgent attention and action from the police and government to prevent similar incidents in the future.
