In Poland, the salary gap between sectors remains significant: in the highest-paying sectors, incomes exceed 18,000 zloty per month. At the same time, it is important for Ukrainians to consider that their net salary in Poland is often lower than the national average. This is reported by 24 Kanal.

Where in Poland do the highest salaries pay in 2026

One of the leaders in income remains the mining industry. The median salary in this sector at the beginning of 2026 was 13,794 zloty. This means that half of the workers earned more than this amount, and half earned less.

Even higher incomes were recorded in the extraction of hard and brown coal. The median salary here reached 16,897 zloty per month, which exceeds 199,000 UAH according to the exchange rate provided in the source.

The largest sums are offered in the digital sector. In computer infrastructure, data processing, hosting, and website administration, the average salary reached 18,940 zloty, while the median was 14,745 zloty.

The level of income depends not only on the profession but also on the place of work. Among the best cities in Poland for work in 2026, Warsaw, Poznań, Wrocław, and Kraków stand out, but housing costs there also vary significantly.

What jobs in Poland have stable demand in 2026

The lowest salaries are recorded in sectors where employers have a wide choice of candidates. In particular, such areas include detective and security services.

«Where businesses compete for a limited number of specialists, employers are forced to increase salaries to retain people or attract new employees,» the specialists explained.

At the same time, the highest salary does not always mean the largest number of available vacancies. There is currently a stable demand for workers in Poland in HoReCa, the food industry, retail, logistics, and warehouses.

For Ukrainians, this makes a significant difference: high-paying technological and extraction industries have a higher entry threshold, while logistics, manufacturing, and the service sector offer more opportunities for quickly finding a job.

We remind you that almost half of Ukrainian workers previously chose jobs in warehouses and logistics, while a significantly smaller share of employed people worked in the agricultural sector and industry.
