In the Polish capital, Warsaw, three Ukrainians were brutally beaten because of their nationality, reports 'Khvylya' citing Raport Warszawski.

According to the police, the attack occurred near a shopping center in the Byalolenka area in the evening. A group of unknown men insulted the Ukrainians because of their nationality and struck them. Fortunately, there was a woman nearby who was able to film the incident and call for emergency assistance.

A investigative team arrived at the scene, took witness testimonies, gathered evidence, and created descriptions of the offenders. One of the Ukrainians sustained injuries and required medical assistance.

The next day, the police managed to detain three suspects: a 41-year-old man and two others aged 28 and 36. One of them was found with drugs. All three are to answer for various crimes related to the beating and nationalist insults.

The court placed the suspects under police supervision and banned any contact with the victims and with each other. The attack with nationalist motives could lead to up to five years of imprisonment.

Authorities emphasize that the attack had a nationalist background. Earlier, there were reports of mass deportations of Ukrainians from Poland.
