In Poltava, the Mi-2 helicopter, which was installed on a pedestal where the monument to Peter I used to stand, was dismantled. The exhibit was removed in the evening of September 18, just a day after its installation, reported the press service of the 18th Army Aviation Brigade. This was reported by 'Glavkom', referring to Suspilne Poltava.

The helicopter was installed as a temporary installation for the 10th anniversary of the creation of the 18th separate brigade of army aviation. However, it was removed after complaints from local residents.

The residents of Poltava were divided in their opinions about this idea. Some considered the installation an interesting photo zone and a way to honor the military. Others expressed concern that the mockup could be confused with combat equipment during air attacks.

Recall that the preliminary investigation regarding the former law enforcement officer, whose actions caused a fatal traffic accident in the village of Machukhy in the Poltava region, has been completed. This is reported by 'Glavkom', with reference to the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).
