Tragic incident in Pulyny

In the village of Pulyny, Zhytomyr region, a conscripted man, Oleksandr Revutskyi, died after receiving a summons. The incident occurred after his visit to the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC), where he was deemed fit for military service. It is known that on January 2, Revutskyi was taken to the sixth department of the Zhytomyr district TCC and social support.

During his stay at the TCC, on January 3, the man experienced a nosebleed. The next day, on January 5, 2026, he was served with a summons. Around 3:20 PM that same day, Revutskyi left the premises of the sixth department of the TCC. After exiting the territory, he fainted. Medics who arrived at the scene pronounced him dead.

Investigation of the circumstances of the incident

In connection with this incident, investigators from the territorial police unit entered data into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations. Additionally, the leadership of the TCC and social support has appointed a service investigation to clarify the circumstances of the event. It is noteworthy that during mobilization, the government has updated the rules for organizing food for citizens arriving at the TCC and SP.

This tragic case highlights the importance of proper medical assessment and preparation for individuals going through mobilization procedures. As the country continues to face challenges related to military actions, the health of citizens subject to conscription becomes particularly relevant. The results of the service investigation may influence further changes in the TCC organization system and improve conditions for conscripts.
