Issues with displaying photos in the 'Reserve+' application
The 'Reserve+' application is experiencing issues with displaying users' photos due to phased data loading. Artem Romanyuk, the head of the Digital Transformation Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, explained that photos are loaded gradually due to the large number of users. Currently, there are about 6 million users registered in 'Reserve+', which complicates simultaneous photo uploads.
It is important to note that photos in electronic form are only available for those users who have a biometric foreign passport. Despite the absence of a photo, the document remains valid in 'Reserve+'. Artem Romanyuk also mentioned that, most likely, photos will appear for the majority of users in the near future. However, for some citizens, photos may not appear due to the lack of a digital image in state registers.
Additional user identification
For additional user identification, they may be asked to provide other documents with a photo that verify their identity. The update of 'Reserve+' aims to add photos of owners, as well as notifications about summons and administrative cases. The Ministry of Defense continues to work on improving the functionality of the application to ensure more convenient access to information for users.
The situation with 'Reserve+' illustrates the challenges faced by state electronic services amidst the growing demand for their use.
Given the large number of users, it is crucial for the Ministry of Defense to continue enhancing technological solutions to ensure the stable functioning of the program. This will not only improve the user experience but also increase the efficiency of collecting and processing user data.
