On August 28, the Main Intelligence Directorate destroyed the infrastructure of the key railway station Tver on the territory of Russia. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing 'RBK-Ukraine'.

The attack on the station took place around 5 AM on August 28. Explosives were planted under the tankers that were on the railway track and clearly filled with fuel. Within seconds, a powerful explosion occurred by remotely detonating the charge. After that, the tankers were engulfed in flames, which spread across the entire territory of the railway station.

The intelligence reported that the attack on the key station Tver is part of a comprehensive effort to destroy the logistics capabilities of the Russian Federation in supplying the occupying forces with fuel, ammunition, and personnel.

It is worth noting that on the night of August 28, explosions were heard in the Volgograd region in the city of Petroval. Russians reported an attack by drones.

Also, on the night of August 28, the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region and the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in the Samara region were attacked in Russia.

Through the explosion and detonation of tankers with fuel and other strategic facilities, intelligence supports a significant role in complicating the situation for the occupying forces of the Russian Federation, destroying their capabilities for further supply and replenishment. These destructions are a crucial link in the strategy of deterring hostile actions on the territory of Ukraine.
