In Rivne, the winner of the tender for the procurement of four used low-floor trolleybuses for 12.48 million UAH has been determined. The transport from the Czech city of Teplice is to be supplied by LLC 'Modern Trucks'. Previously, the city had already planned to acquire Skoda trolleybuses. This is reported by Prozorro.
How much will the trolleybuses for Rivne cost
KP 'Rivneelektroavtotrans' announced the procurement of four Skoda 26Tr Solaris trolleybuses manufactured in 2009-2010. Two vehicles were manufactured in 2009, and two more in 2010. They were operated in Teplice, Czech Republic.
The expected cost of the procurement was 11,333,213.90 UAH. Only one participant took part in the bidding - LLC 'Modern Trucks'. Its proposal amounted to 10.4 million UAH excluding VAT and 12.48 million UAH including tax. The city will pay 3.12 million UAH for one trolleybus.
According to the technical documentation, each cabin is designed for 34 passenger seats and has a separate place for the driver. The total capacity of one trolleybus is up to 102 passengers. The low floor is intended to make boarding easier for people with disabilities, elderly passengers, and parents with strollers. The update of the rolling stock is part of broader transport development plans for Rivne.
When will the contract with the supplier be signed
The winner of the tender was determined on October 5. On October 7, the company provided the necessary documents, after which the procurement awaited the signing of the contract.
The public contacted a representative of the enterprise at the number indicated in Prozorro for comments. They responded that all necessary information has already been posted on the platform.
This is not the first procurement of trolleybuses from LLC 'Modern Trucks'. In the summer of 2025, 'Rivneelektroavtotrans' purchased four used low-floor Solaris Trollino 12 from a Polish company through this enterprise. That procurement cost over 13 million UAH.
