Mobile Resilience Hub in Rivne
Following a Russian attack on the city of Rivne, a mobile Resilience Hub has been established to provide services and support to residents. This initiative is operated by volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross and psychologists from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS). Such hubs are a critical part of the civilian response infrastructure in Ukraine during the ongoing conflict.
At the Resilience Hub, residents can access the following:
- Take a rest
- Warm up
- Recharge their mobile phones
- Have a hot cup of tea
Support is provided to victims and eyewitnesses of the attack who require assistance during this difficult time.
The Significance of the Resilience Hub
The deployment of the Resilience Hub is a vital step in ensuring the safety and comfort of Rivne's residents, particularly under wartime conditions. These initiatives offer not only physical but also psychological support to people who have experienced traumatic events, which can aid in their recovery and adaptation to challenging circumstances.
The importance of volunteer work at this time cannot be overstated, as it provides essential aid to the most vulnerable segments of the population.
