A Dormitory Collapsed in Ufa, Russia

The facade of a building previously used as a dormitory for the Cooperative Technical School collapsed in the Russian city of Ufa. This was reported by 'Glavcom'.


It was recorded that the moment of the collapse on Communist Street was captured on video. The structure was empty, so no one was injured during the collapse.


It is reported that the building had long been out of use and was empty, thus no one was hurt during the collapse.

The house was planned to be officially demolished, but the structure collapsed on its own beforehand.



A Powerful Earthquake Near Kamchatka


Recently, a powerful earthquake of 8.8 magnitude near Kamchatka triggered a tsunami. Waves reached 3-4 meters on the eastern coast of Kamchatka. Japan and Hawaii declared evacuation of coastal regions.


Four whales were found after the earthquake on the coast of Tateyama in Japan. The event occurred after the sixth strongest earthquake in history, which also caused a tsunami in the Kuril Islands, Hokkaido, and Hawaii.


It was noted that the tsunami reached the shores of Hawaii and the United States, but its force turned out to be not as great as expected. Tsunami warnings for some coastal areas from California to Rincon Point were canceled.



During the collapse of the building facade in Ufa, no one was injured as the building was empty. In Japan, after the earthquake, four whales were found on the coast, and evacuation measures were announced due to the tsunami, which also affected Kamchatka and Hawaii.
