Fire in Yaroslavl: details of the incident


A large fire broke out in the industrial zone of Yaroslavl. According to local social media reports, the building of the Yaroslavl Paint Company is on fire.



According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the fire has engulfed the factory premises covering an area of 4500 square meters. The roof of the building has collapsed. So far, there is no information about any casualties, but there may be workers at the scene.



Seventy specialists and 23 units of equipment are working to extinguish the fire. Witnesses noted that smoke from the fire is visible several kilometers away from the site.


The exact causes of the fire are currently unknown.

According to open sources, the Yaroslavl Paint Company is a manufacturing enterprise that produces paint materials such as paints, varnishes, enamels, and other coatings for construction, automotive industry, furniture manufacturing, and other fields.


It is also known that during the conflict, Russian factories and plants can be used to produce military components.


Active work of rescuers and firefighters at the site of the fire in Yaroslavl, where the Yaroslavl Paint Company is burning. So far, there is no information about casualties or injuries, but rescuers note the difficult conditions in fighting the fire due to the collapse of the building's roof.
