A drone attack on railway infrastructure, which is used to supply the Russian army in the war against Ukraine, occurred in the village of Kamенolomни in the Rostov region. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing Russian media and the region's governor, Yuri Slyusary.
According to the governor, as a result of debris falling from one of the drones, the roof of the railway station building ignited. Three workers were evacuated from the dispatching point. According to preliminary data, there are no injuries.
Damage to military infrastructure
Russian media confirmed the damage to the station. It is noted that the local section of the railway is actively used for transporting military cargo to the combat zone in Ukraine.
"Kamенolomни is another important hub station in the southern direction," the journalists noted.
Previously, we reported that on the night of July 17, powerful explosions were heard in the Russian city of Belgorod, and local residents reported a drone attack. As 'Glavkom' writes, citing Russian media, panic began in the city after 10 PM due to a series of 'bangs' accompanied by smoke and fire.
