The Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine will have more than 7,000 digital officers to promote digital transformation in the army. This initiative will create a unified digital IT vertical that will allow for the implementation of digital products and more effective communication within military units, including even battalions.
The tasks of digital officers will be diverse - from implementing systems to fostering an IT culture within the army. The creation of a new structure will promote the rapid digitization of the military and more effective use of digital initiatives in the army.
According to a representative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the CDTO has already successfully digitized many areas of life in Ukraine. Scaling this successful model to the level of the Security and Defense Forces will help the country maintain a technological advantage in the modern military sphere.
