Bus with Ukrainians overturned in Slovakia: details of the accident

On the night of December 16, a bus carrying Ukrainians veered off the road and overturned near Bratislava. This was reported by Slovak police.



The incident occurred on the D1 highway, more than 30 kilometers from the country's capital. There were 11 Ukrainians on the bus, although other reports suggest there were 12. Fortunately, only two passengers sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospitals.



Adverse weather conditions and assistance to the victims


The weather conditions are considered one of the causes of the accident. Emergency response teams arrived at the scene immediately, and the victims received the necessary assistance. The investigation is being conducted by the police, and the driver, who was tested for intoxication, turned out to be sober.

Only two passengers were injured in the accident, while the other passengers continued their journey by other means of transport. The bus driver was sober, but the investigation into the causes of the incident is still ongoing.
