On December 13, an incident occurred in the Zarichny district of Sumy, when an enemy drone struck a multi-storey residential building. The State Emergency Service and local authorities reported that the attack caused significant damage to the upper floors of the building, with over 100 windows broken, including 40 in private apartments.
Additionally, as a result of the incident, 10 cars parked near the building were damaged. The strike also affected civilian transport and some structures of the surrounding infrastructure.
Response to the event
Rescue services documented the incident and immediately went to the location to inspect the area. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties from the attack. Rescuers assisted the residents of the building and restored order at the scene.

It is also known that a large-scale attack by the enemy occurred in Odesa, which resulted in four local residents being injured. Fires and destruction affected residential buildings, including the historical center of the city. As a result of the attack, many areas were left without electricity, heating, and water supply.
Analysis shows that enemy forces launched over 300 means of destruction, including kamikaze drones and various types of missiles and weapons aimed at energy, port, and other facilities.
The incident in Sumy indicates the threat that foreign aggressors pose to the civilian population. Such attacks violate the safety and tranquility of citizens, thus it is crucial to maintain defense capabilities and protective skills in case of similar situations.
