A terrible accident occurred in Tanzania, resulting in at least 38 deaths from a head-on collision between two buses, while 28 others were injured. According to information from 'Glaicom' citing Xinhua agency, the accident happened near the city of Moshi on the evening of June 28. One of the buses had a tire burst, leading to a loss of control and a head-on collision with another vehicle. Both buses caught fire.
“One bus was carrying people who were heading to a wedding ceremony. The other, a long-distance bus, was traveling from Moshi to Tanga.”
Of the injured, 22 people have already received necessary medical assistance and have been discharged from the hospital, while six remain under doctors' observation. Recently, there was also an air disaster in Tanzania when a passenger plane from Precision Air crashed into Lake Victoria.
These events highlight the extreme danger of road traffic and the necessity of strengthening safety measures on Tanzania's roads to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
