In Ternopil, from May 11 to 24, traffic will be partially blocked on Vesele Street due to road surface repairs. The restrictions will affect one of the central sections of the city, and buses will run on altered routes. This report was made by the publication “Za Zbruchem”.
Traffic will be restricted in Ternopil for almost two weeks
The executive committee of the Ternopil city council has made a decision regarding the temporary closure of traffic on Vesele Street. The restrictions will apply on the section from the intersection with Yevhen Petrushevich Street to house No. 23.
The reason for the closure is the ongoing road surface repair work. During the repair, temporary road signs and a new traffic organization scheme will be installed.
The city council urges drivers to take the changes into account when planning trips through the central part of Ternopil.
Bus No. 21 in Ternopil will change its route
Due to repairs, the route of bus No. 21 will be temporarily organized around the closed section. Public transport will operate on the following streets:

Yuri Tyutyunnyk Street.

Zelena Street.

Mykola Lysenko Street.

Halytska Street.
An additional stop will also be set up for passengers on Lysenko Street, 1 — opposite the Pension Fund service center.
Road repairs continue in the central part of Ternopil
Spring and early summer traditionally remain a period of active road repairs in Ternopil. The city authorities are renewing the surfaces on streets with the highest traffic load.
Temporary closures and changes to public transport routes in the city are being implemented to expedite repair work and enhance road safety.
Recall that on May 1, a drone attack was carried out on Ternopil, which resulted in the number of injured increasing to 11, of whom 7 were hospitalized.
