The Vinnytsia community is finalizing the preparation of gas buses Solaris for operation on urban routes. The transport, purchased in 2025, has undergone a full cycle of technical maintenance, certification, and testing under real traffic conditions, after which it received Ukrainian state license plates. This is reported by the Vinnytsia City Council.
The municipal enterprise Vinnytsia Transport Company reported that some buses are already operating on the routes, while the rest are being introduced into operation in stages - after all checks are completed. The vehicles were prepared taking into account peak loads and various urban traffic modes.

The Director of the Department of Transport and Urban Mobility of the Vinnytsia City Council, Andrii Sorokin, noted that the use of gas allows reducing harmful emissions and noise levels, as well as improving comfort for passengers and residents of the city.
Preparation of transport for routes: what work has been done
During the preparation, oils and filters were replaced, brake pads checked, the undercarriage, door mechanisms, air and fuel systems were inspected at the bus depot. Worn rubber elements were replaced, while large aggregates did not require repairs.
After technical work, the buses underwent technical inspection, certification, and load testing. According to the chief engineer of the bus depot, Roman Chaban, the transport is being gradually put into operation so that each vehicle is fully ready for daily use when it enters the route.
The city council emphasizes that the transition to gas buses not only reduces operating costs but also gradually lowers the public transport's impact on the environment.
Let us remind you, Kyiv received five used Solaris buses from Krakow as humanitarian aid. This is equipment from 2009, previously used by the Municipal Transport Company MPK.
