In Vinnytsia, they can review public transport fares. Employees of the municipal enterprise «Vinnytsia Transport Company» have approached the city mayor Serhiy Morgunov with a proposal to raise the fare. This is reported by “20 Minutes”.
In the company, they explain that the current tariffs no longer cover real costs for transporting passengers. According to them, prices for electricity, diesel fuel, and gasoline have significantly increased recently.
Additionally, spare parts, technical maintenance, and repairs of rolling stock have also become much more expensive, which affects the economic operation of the transport company.
Fare increase for transport in Vinnytsia: what prices are being proposed by transporters
In their appeal to the city authorities, transporters propose to set new travel costs depending on the type of transport:

15–17 UAH — on trams and trolleybuses

18–20 UAH — on municipal buses.
Employees of the company emphasize that the current salary level of drivers and technical staff no longer matches the complexity of the work. This creates a shortage of personnel, which may affect the stability of transport services in the city.
Transport fares in Vinnytsia: when a decision may be made
Currently, no official decision has been made regarding the fare increase in Vinnytsia. As of the beginning of March, this is just a proposal from the transporter's labor collective to the city authorities.
Next, the executive committee must analyze the economic calculations, after which specialists from the city council will determine whether there are grounds for changing the fare.
If necessary, the issue may be brought to public discussion, where the opinion of city residents will also be considered.
It should be noted that in Lviv, transporters want a fare increase, otherwise they threaten to stop the buses.
