Teenagers beat a 16-year-old boy in Vinnytsia: what is known about the attackers

Incidents in Vinnytsia and Zhmerynka

In Vinnytsia, four teenagers are suspected of beating a 16-year-old boy. The incident occurred on December 21, and on December 23, one of the attackers was charged. The assault is classified as hooliganism under part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Such actions are punishable by restriction of liberty for up to five years or imprisonment for up to four years.

At the same time, other crimes have been recorded in the region. In particular, a 21-year-old young man suspected of robbery was detained in Zhmerynka. He took two mobile phones, a bank card, and a charger from his victims. Robbery carries a penalty of up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

A 40-year-old resident of the Tulchyn district is also suspected of having attempted premeditated murder of a minor. These events indicate a rise in youth crime and the need for preventive measures.
