After the power outage, trams and trolleybuses in Vinnytsia have returned to their routes. Public transport is operating according to the weekend schedule, and the city has a contingency plan in case of repeated outages: earlier tests were conducted on how transport will operate during a blackout. This was reported by the mayor, Serhiy Morgunov.

How Vinnytsia's transport operates after the power outage

«Vinnytsia's public transport is operating according to the weekend schedule. We have deployed the vehicles that were planned», — wrote Morgunov.

According to him, the situation in the city remains difficult, and energy workers continue to stabilize the power grid. Residents are urged to be economical in their electricity consumption, especially during the restoration of power.

In case of water supply disruptions, Vinnytsia residents are advised to keep a supply of drinking and technical water at home. To support transportation during outages, the city is also developing its bus fleet: in particular, it plans to receive 20 MAN Lion's City buses.

What is known about the consequences of the attack in Vinnytsia region

During the nighttime air attack by the Russian Federation, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged in the Vinnytsia region. Energy workers are working on restoring power supply.

Morgunov emphasized that economical electricity consumption remains important even after power is restored. Vinnytsia's transport heavily relies on the power grid: trams and trolleybuses carry many passengers, and the city continues to update its electric fleet, particularly with new Tram 2000 trams.
