A single trip on Vinnytsia buses, trams, and trolleybuses will cost 25 hryvnias from August 1. Regular passengers will be able to pay less using travel cards, and special rates will remain for students and pupils. This was reported by the Vinnytsia City Council.
How much will public transport cost in Vinnytsia from August 1, 2026
The executive committee of the city council approved new tariffs after reviewing calculations from the municipal company “Vinnytsia Transport Company”. The unified cost of a single trip on a city bus, tram, or trolleybus will be 25 hryvnias.
For regular trips, travel cards will remain more cost-effective. Depending on the type of card and selected package, a single trip will cost between 11 and 17 hryvnias.
Personalized cards valid for 30 days will be sold at the following prices:

130 trips: 1500 UAH for adults, 750 UAH for students and vocational education pupils, 450 UAH for schoolchildren;

80 trips: 1200 UAH for adults, 600 UAH for students and vocational education pupils, 360 UAH for schoolchildren;

unlimited travel card: 2250 UAH.
Holders of the personalized “Municipal Card of Vinnytsians” will still be able to transfer to another transport free of charge within 30 minutes.
What travel cards will be available in Vinnytsia's transport
A non-personalized card for 130 trips will cost 1725 hryvnias, and a package for 80 trips will cost 1380 hryvnias. The unlimited travel card for 30 calendar days will cost 2600 hryvnias.
The city authorities will continue to finance the transportation of passengers entitled to benefits. In 2025, public transport in the Vinnytsia community made over 46.8 million trips, more than 15.5 million of which were made by beneficiaries.
The city council explained the increase by the need to ensure the stable operation of transport. For passengers who travel daily, the difference between single payment and travel cards will be significant: package trips will allow savings of up to 14 hryvnias on each validation.
It is worth noting that on May 28 in Vinnytsia at 22:00 at the stop Дев'ятий мікрорайон, an incident occurred where a man and a woman assaulted the tram driver.
