A 23-year-old former teacher has been detained in the Vinnytsia region, suspected of murdering two schoolchildren. The tragedy occurred on the morning of September 10, when the perpetrator attacked 10th and 11th-grade students who were on their way to school. The children received fatal injuries to the neck and died at the scene. The suspect turned out to be a former teacher of the deceased schoolchildren.
The examination of the crime scene and the investigation are being carried out by a joint team led by the head of the Vinnytsia regional prosecutor's office. Investigative actions are underway, and a notification of suspicion and a motion for a preventive measure in the form of detention is being prepared against the suspect.
