The Ukrainian Navy reported on the change of tactics of the Russian fleet in the Black Sea

Russian occupiers in the Black Sea are using small boats to defend their bases. According to the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Navy, Dmitry Pletenchuk, this tactic is due to the high risk of large ships being hit. They are also using boats for logistical support of their units, especially in remote areas.

Due to the limited capabilities of combat units, the Russians have to use small boats to secure their bases and units. This may indicate a weakening of their fleet and a change of tactics under the constant threat from Ukrainian forces.
